My team approaches every design consultation with a series of questions to better understand your needs. I like to say, that I can make any space beautiful, but the way in which a space functions is far more important. I also like to help people plan for the unexpected, rather than what is right in front of them.
Who would have thought we would be spending so much time in our homes this last year, and finding ways to share it with everyone and for every business and personal purpose? As an Architectural Designer and Renovation Expert, I want you to be prepared or at least consider every situation. Life is unpredictable, and you never know when a surgery or unexpected injury makes it a challenge to enter your home, wash the dishes, or take a shower. Perhaps an elderly loved one needs to move in with you, and needs a bedroom and accessible shower on the main level. I like to challenge my clients to consider their long term needs because you never know how life might change your path. So often we think we are only planning to live in our homes for 3-5 years, but then circumstances change and we find ourselves living in a home longer than expected.
My goal is to make sure your home design is adaptable to meet your changing needs, and that it is also very marketable should you need to sell or refinance sooner than expected. I want to help you maximize the return on your investment.

Again you ask, how much will my renovation cost? To be honest, I am not a fan of throwing out ballpark numbers. Every client has different expectations, and a design plan needs to be custom tailored to meet those goals. Every product, space, and home is different which makes it necessary to work through a design planning process to determine an estimated price. The design planning process should include drawings and material specifications for the proposed space. This is best done through collaboration with the client and it can take 4-12 weeks to finalize a conceptual plan.
Average remodel costs vary greatly, but to give you a general idea for a 2,500 square foot home . . .

Once we assemble your customized design plan with drawings, finishes, and a construction estimate you will be armed with the information to determine your next steps. Please keep in mind, it is very helpful to be transparent about your budget, so we can make the best recommendations. In turn, I will provide itemized estimates, so you can determine if anything needs to be added or cut back to reach your financial goals.
